Food Delivery Bike Rental – Important Information

Before placing an order, please read this guide carefully. It contains everything you need to know. If you contact us asking about information already covered here, we will simply refer you back to this guide.

Availability & Ordering

  • Check availability first: Please text us on 0480 018 349 before placing an order.

  • Placing an order does not guarantee a bike or immediate collection. You must wait for confirmation from us. No refunds will be provided if you order online without checking availability first.

  • In-store pickup only: No delivery. Bikes must be collected from our Pyrmont store.

Rental Pricing & Duration

  • Prices listed on the website are weekly rates.

  • Minimum rental: 1 week.

  • For better rates, we recommend 8–12 week rentals.

Security & Documentation

To rent a bike, you must provide:

  • $200 refundable security bond

  • Proof of address

  • Copy of your passport

  • Australian bank account

Bike Usage & Responsibility

 

  • Our bikes comply with legal speed limits (25 km/h).

  • Bikes must be securely locked inside a property at all times; they cannot be left outside.

  • We do not provide insurance – the bike is your responsibility during the rental period. Personal insurance is recommended for loss or damage.

  • Using illegal bikes can result in fines up to $2,000 and potentially even jail time.

  • No mobile repairs, pickups, or drop-offs – you are responsible for attending our location if issues arise.

  • Repairs must only be carried out by Sydney Ebike Rentals; no other person or service is authorised.

  • Rentals are not available to hostel residents.

Pick-Up & Location

  • No delivery. You must collect from our Pyrmont store.

  • Once all paperwork is completed, the bike will be ready within 1 to 3 business days.

  • Priority is given to customers who provide complete and correct information. Incomplete paperwork = no booking.

  • To join the waiting list, payment is required: $200 bond + first week's rent. Rent starts from the day you collect the bike.
