🚲 New Bike Rental – Customer Guide
Welcome, and thank you for renting with us. This guide explains everything you need to know to get the most out of your rental and avoid any issues during your agreement. Please read carefully.
💳 Payments

Rent is always paid in advance.

We process payments via direct debit from the Australian Bank account you provide.

Payments are taken on the same day each week, based on your rental start date.

Example: If you rent on a Monday, your rent will be charged every Monday.

Please ensure there are sufficient funds in your account the day before.

If a payment fails due to insufficient funds, a $5 administrative fee applies for each day the rent remains unpaid.
📅 Rental Period & Returns

Bikes are rented for 4, 8, or 12 weeks.

Your rental has a return date, but you must book your return at least 3 days before the contract ends.

If no return is booked, your contract automatically continues on a weekly basis until a return is arranged.

No exceptions to this rule.
❌ Early Termination

If you choose to end the contract early, a penalty of 50% of the remaining rental period applies.

This is to cover operational costs and scheduling commitments.
🚫 Overdue Payments

If your payment is more than 2 weeks overdue, the contract will be cancelled.

We will:

Keep your security deposit
-
Cancel your contract
-
Report the bike to a repossession company
-
File a police report
-
🛠 Monthly Service – Mandatory
-
A monthly in-store service is included in your rent.

This service is mandatory, even if nothing feels wrong.

Our mechanics will check and maintain:

Brakes
-
Brake pads
-
Chain lubrication
-
Headset
-
Tyre pressure
-
Frame integrity
-

Please book your service through our website.
🛞 Flat Tyres & Repairs

Flat tyres are included in your rental if not caused by vandalism or negligence.

All repairs are in-store only – we do not offer mobile servicing, pick-up, or delivery.

No exceptions.
🔐 Locking the Bike

Our staff will show you how to lock the bike properly at pickup.
-
The bike must be locked using the provided lock, through the frame.
-
Do not lock the bike to itself or just the wheel.
-
At night, the bike must be kept inside a safe property.
-
If our staff spots the bike outside overnight, your contract will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
🚨 In Case of Theft

If the bike is stolen, contact us immediately.
-
Bikes have GPS tracking, but quick action is essential.
-
You are responsible for checking the location and recovering the bike.
-
Staff will assist initially, but cannot search for long periods.
-
You have 3 days to recover the bike after reporting it stolen.
-
If not recovered, you must pay the full value of the bike.

If payment is not made, we will involve the police and collection services.
🔧 Booking Services

All services (including the mandatory monthly check-up) must be booked via our website.
-
Walk-ins are not guaranteed and may not be accepted.
