Ascent X
The Velectrix Ascent X is the flagship electric mountain bike in the Ascent range — a mid-drive adventure e-MTB that delivers the most power, the most range, and the most trail capability of any Ascent model. Built around a lightweight aluminium mountain bike frame available in medium and large sizing, the Ascent X pairs an RST Blaze suspension fork with 120 mm of travel — more than any other Ascent model — for a smooth, controlled ride on technical trails and rough terrain. An alloy MTB handlebar with 31.8 mm clamp and 720 mm width, Promax alloy 50 mm stem, and an Exaform hydraulic dropper seatpost with 31.6 mm diameter, 395 mm length, and 125 mm of travel complete a trail-focused, highly adjustable cockpit setup.
Power comes from the Bafang M510 250 W 36 V mid-drive motor delivering a class-leading 95 Nm of torque — more than double the Ascent 29's hub motor — with a torque sensor for the most natural, responsive pedal assistance in the entire Ascent range. The Reention Mini Eel 504 Wh 14 Ah 36 V battery delivers up to 70 km of range per full charge — the longest range in the Ascent lineup — while the Bafang DP C11.CAN LCD display provides real-time speed, battery level, and assistance mode data across 5 levels of PAS from low to high. The included 3A 36 V smart charger tops the battery up in a maximum of 5 hours.
Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes deliver precise, reliable stopping power in all weather conditions, while Shimano Cues 10-speed gearing with an included shift sensor provides the widest gear range in the Ascent lineup for smooth, dependable shifts on any gradient. Alloy double wall 29" 36-hole wheels with 13-gauge stainless steel black spokes are paired with Kenda Booster 29" x 2.4" tyres for unbeatable traction, stability, and grip on mixed trail surfaces.
A kickstand and the Exaform hydraulic dropper seatpost are both included as standard — making the Ascent X ready to ride and fully trail-equipped straight out of the box. At 23.5 kg including battery, with a maximum rider weight of 110 kg and an optional rear rack supporting up to 25 kg of luggage, the Ascent X is the most capable, most powerful, and most adventure-ready electric mountain bike in the Velectrix Ascent range.

Do sales come with a warranty?
Yes — all sales include a 12-month parts warranty. Labour time is not included, but we’re always happy to assist with service and repairs and can work with our suppliers for after sales support to ensure you feel safe and secure on your new wheels.
Do I need to book a test ride?
No bookings required — just drop in!
We’ll help you test ride multiple bikes or discuss options that suit your needs.Tip: Call ahead or message us first to confirm availability of the specific model you’re after.

How much do your bikes cost?

All bikes are fully supported and serviceable by our in-house mechanics.
Can I ride home the same day?
Yes! If your bike is in stock, we’ll assemble and prep it so you can ride straight out the door upon payment.
What’s the battery range per charge?
Between 30 – 115 km depending on:
- Battery size (9 Ah – 17 Ah)
- Rider weight
- Terrain and riding style

Yes — we deliver locally across Sydney and can ship nationally for a delivery fee.
We also partner with supporting stores across Australia to assist with assembly where possible.

Do you offer after-sale support?
Yes — your first service is free!
