The Basil City Double Bag is designed to keep up with everyday urban riding, offering the perfect balance between compact styling and generous storage capacity. Ideal for commuting, shopping trips, market runs, or casual rides around town, this versatile double pannier delivers practical storage without feeling oversized.
With an expandable capacity ranging from 28 to 32 litres, the bag provides ample room for daily essentials while maintaining a sleek profile on your bike. The adjustable folding closure with Velcro fastening allows you to easily increase storage space when needed, while also helping protect your belongings from light rain and changing weather conditions.
Constructed from durable water-repellent polyester, the City Double Bag is built for reliable everyday use. Reflective panels on all sides improve visibility in low-light conditions, and there is also a dedicated attachment point for optional LED lighting for added safety.
The integrated Basil Universal Bridge System offers flexible mounting options, allowing the bag to be attached using pre-mounted straps, the Basil DBS system, or compatible adapter plates such as MIK (sold separately). For heavier loads, the optional Basil Distance Holder helps prevent the bag from contacting the bike spokes.

Do sales come with a warranty?
Yes — all sales include a 12-month parts warranty. Labour time is not included, but we’re always happy to assist with service and repairs and can work with our suppliers for after sales support to ensure you feel safe and secure on your new wheels.
Do I need to book a test ride?
No bookings required — just drop in!
We’ll help you test ride multiple bikes or discuss options that suit your needs.Tip: Call ahead or message us first to confirm availability of the specific model you’re after.
What bike styles do you stock?
We stock Australia’s largest range, including:

How much do your bikes cost?
- New e-bikes: from $1,500
- Second-hand models: from $600, depending on stock
All bikes are fully supported and serviceable by our in-house mechanics.
Can I ride home the same day?
Yes! If your bike is in stock, we’ll assemble and prep it so you can ride straight out the door upon payment.
What’s the battery range per charge?
Between 30 – 115 km depending on:
- Battery size (9 Ah – 17 Ah)
- Rider weight
- Terrain and riding style

High torque or low torque — what’s the difference?
- High torque: better hill climbing and carrying heavier loads
- Low torque: better efficiency and battery life on flat terrain
Do you ship?
Yes — we deliver locally across Sydney and can ship nationally for a delivery fee.
We also partner with supporting stores across Australia to assist with assembly where possible.
Do you assemble the bikes?
Absolutely. Our mechanics have 15 + years’ experience and are among the most qualified in the country.
Do you offer after-sale support?
Yes — your first service is free!
We’re also always available to provide ongoing maintenance, tune-ups, repairs, and support to keep your bike running perfectly as part of our workshop department.
