The El Hefe 2024 is Vamos Bikes’ powerhouse fat-tyre cruiser, built for riders who want style, power, and unmatched off-road capability. With its bold design reminiscent of an electric Harley, the El Hefe turns heads while delivering a smooth and confident ride. Its 26” x 4” Chao Yang tyres provide exceptional traction, stability, and cushioning across sand, gravel, pavement, or dirt trails.
Powered by dual 500 W high-torque VAMOS brushless hub motors (front and rear), the El Hefe features all-wheel drive for effortless hill climbing and accelerated performance. A Samsung 48 V 20 Ah battery offers a range of 70 km+, while a mid-axle torque sensor ensures natural and responsive pedal assistance. Out of the box, the top speed is restricted to 25 km/h for compliance with EN15194 Australian e-bike standards, with the option to unlock speeds up to 55 km/h for private or off-road use.
Comfort-focused design includes a Justek saddle, front suspension forks, ergonomic handlebar grips, and a Digitech colour LCD display for ride stats and battery monitoring. Do sales come with a warranty?
Yes — all sales include a 12-month parts warranty. Labour time is not included, but we’re always happy to assist with service and repairs and can work with our suppliers for after sales support to ensure you feel safe and secure on your new wheels.
Do I need to book a test ride?
No bookings required — just drop in!
We’ll help you test ride multiple bikes or discuss options that suit your needs.Tip: Call ahead or message us first to confirm availability of the specific model you’re after.
What bike styles do you stock?
We stock Australia’s largest range, including:

How much do your bikes cost?
- New e-bikes: from $1,500
- Second-hand models: from $600, depending on stock
All bikes are fully supported and serviceable by our in-house mechanics.
Can I ride home the same day?
Yes! If your bike is in stock, we’ll assemble and prep it so you can ride straight out the door upon payment.
What’s the battery range per charge?
Between 30 – 115 km depending on:
- Battery size (9 Ah – 17 Ah)
- Rider weight
- Terrain and riding style

High torque or low torque — what’s the difference?
- High torque: better hill climbing and carrying heavier loads
- Low torque: better efficiency and battery life on flat terrain
Do you ship?
Yes — we deliver locally across Sydney and can ship nationally for a delivery fee.
We also partner with supporting stores across Australia to assist with assembly where possible.
Do you assemble the bikes?
Absolutely. Our mechanics have 15 + years’ experience and are among the most qualified in the country.
Do you offer after-sale support?
Yes — your first service is free!
We’re also always available to provide ongoing maintenance, tune-ups, repairs, and support to keep your bike running perfectly as part of our workshop department.
