ETook ET490L Folding Plate Lock
The ETook ET490L Folding Plate Lock combines strong security with a compact and convenient design, making it an ideal choice for everyday and electric bike riders.
Designed for secure on-bike storage, the lock features a patented side-loading mounting bracket system for quick and easy access. The bracket can be mounted directly to standard bottle cage mounts or attached to your bike frame using the included straps.
Constructed from hardened 5mm steel plates, the ET490L delivers a high-security rating with up to 9 tonnes of shear resistance. Each plate is finished with a scratch-resistant coating to help protect your bike’s paintwork during use.
For enhanced anti-theft protection, the lock uses a slim laser-cut blade key with curved key teeth designed to resist picking and bumping. The keyhole also includes a sliding dust cover and reinforced hardened steel protection to help prevent drilling attacks.
With a total unfolded length of 900mm, the ET490L offers flexible locking options while remaining compact for transport.

Do sales come with a warranty?
Yes — all sales include a 12-month parts warranty. Labour time is not included, but we’re always happy to assist with service and repairs and can work with our suppliers for after sales support to ensure you feel safe and secure on your new wheels.
Do I need to book a test ride?
No bookings required — just drop in!
We’ll help you test ride multiple bikes or discuss options that suit your needs.Tip: Call ahead or message us first to confirm availability of the specific model you’re after.
What bike styles do you stock?
We stock Australia’s largest range, including:
- Step-throughs
- Commuters

- Fat-tyre
- Mountain

How much do your bikes cost?
- New e-bikes: from $1,500
- Second-hand models: from $600, depending on stock
All bikes are fully supported and serviceable by our in-house mechanics.
Can I ride home the same day?
Yes! If your bike is in stock, we’ll assemble and prep it so you can ride straight out the door upon payment.
What’s the battery range per charge?
Between 30 – 115 km depending on:
- Battery size (9 Ah – 17 Ah)
- Rider weight
- Terrain and riding style

High torque or low torque — what’s the difference?
- High torque: better hill climbing and carrying heavier loads
- Low torque: better efficiency and battery life on flat terrain
Do you ship?
Yes — we deliver locally across Sydney and can ship nationally for a delivery fee.
We also partner with supporting stores across Australia to assist with assembly where possible.
Do you assemble the bikes?
Absolutely. Our mechanics have 15 + years’ experience and are among the most qualified in the country.
Do you offer after-sale support?
Yes — your first service is free!
We’re also always available to provide ongoing maintenance, tune-ups, repairs, and support to keep your bike running perfectly as part of our workshop department.
