The Focus VAM2 SL 9.9 2024 is built for riders who want maximum trail performance in a lightweight e-MTB platform. It uses a MAX carbon frame with 125 mm F.O.L.D. GEN3 kinematics, internal cable routing, and a stiff 148x12 thru axle rear end for responsive handling and efficient power transfer.
Suspension duties are handled by a FOX 34 Float Performance Elite 29 fork with 130 mm travel and a FOX Float Performance rear shock with 125 mm travel and 2-position lever, delivering controlled, trail-tuned performance across varied terrain.
The Fazua Ride 60 drive system provides smooth, natural assistance with 60 Nm torque and a removable 430 Wh battery, managed through the Fazua LED Hub + Ring Control interface.
Drivetrain performance comes from a full Shimano Deore XT M8100 12-speed setup with matching cassette and SLX chain, paired with a Rotor eKAPIC RF Link 29 crankset. Braking is handled by powerful Shimano XT M8120 4-piston brakes with a 203 mm front and 180 mm rear rotor.

Do sales come with a warranty?
Yes — all sales include a 12-month parts warranty. Labour time is not included, but we’re always happy to assist with service and repairs and can work with our suppliers for after sales support to ensure you feel safe and secure on your new wheels.
Do I need to book a test ride?
No bookings required — just drop in!
We’ll help you test ride multiple bikes or discuss options that suit your needs.Tip: Call ahead or message us first to confirm availability of the specific model you’re after.
What bike styles do you stock?
We stock Australia’s largest range, including:

How much do your bikes cost?
- New e-bikes: from $1,500
- Second-hand models: from $600, depending on stock
All bikes are fully supported and serviceable by our in-house mechanics.
Can I ride home the same day?
Yes! If your bike is in stock, we’ll assemble and prep it so you can ride straight out the door upon payment.
What’s the battery range per charge?
Between 30 – 115 km depending on:
- Battery size (9 Ah – 17 Ah)
- Rider weight
- Terrain and riding style

High torque or low torque — what’s the difference?
- High torque: better hill climbing and carrying heavier loads
- Low torque: better efficiency and battery life on flat terrain
Do you ship?
Yes — we deliver locally across Sydney and can ship nationally for a delivery fee.
We also partner with supporting stores across Australia to assist with assembly where possible.
Do you assemble the bikes?
Absolutely. Our mechanics have 15 + years’ experience and are among the most qualified in the country.
Do you offer after-sale support?
Yes — your first service is free!
We’re also always available to provide ongoing maintenance, tune-ups, repairs, and support to keep your bike running perfectly as part of our workshop department.
