The Orbea Gain M40 is designed to deliver an authentic road cycling experience with the added benefit of discreet electric assistance. Its carbon OMR monocoque frame and full carbon fork create a responsive ride, while the Mahle X20 hub motor provides smooth support that blends naturally with every pedal stroke.
The integrated Mahle iX350 353Wh battery works seamlessly with the Mahle Pulsar One monochrome display and Mahle ONE Head Unit, giving you intuitive control over the assistance system. The lightweight design helps preserve the handling of a traditional road bike while providing assistance when you need it most.
A Shimano Cues 2x10-speed drivetrain with a 34/50T crankset and 11–39T cassette offers a versatile gear range for varied terrain. Shimano U6030 hydraulic disc brakes provide confident stopping performance, while the tubeless-ready alloy wheels and Pirelli P ZERO Race X SmartEVO TLR 700x30c tyres deliver excellent rolling efficiency and road comfort.
The finishing kit includes an OC alloy road cockpit, OC carbon seatpost, Fizik Aliante R5 saddle and integrated front and rear position lights for added visibility. Internal cable routing and clean integration complete the refined appearance, making the Gain M40 a capable and enjoyable electric road bike for everyday riding and longer adventures.

Do sales come with a warranty?
Yes — all sales include a 12-month parts warranty. Labour time is not included, but we’re always happy to assist with service and repairs and can work with our suppliers for after sales support to ensure you feel safe and secure on your new wheels.
Do I need to book a test ride?
No bookings required — just drop in!
We’ll help you test ride multiple bikes or discuss options that suit your needs.Tip: Call ahead or message us first to confirm availability of the specific model you’re after.
What bike styles do you stock?
We stock Australia’s largest range, including:

How much do your bikes cost?
- New e-bikes: from $1,500
- Second-hand models: from $600, depending on stock
All bikes are fully supported and serviceable by our in-house mechanics.
Can I ride home the same day?
Yes! If your bike is in stock, we’ll assemble and prep it so you can ride straight out the door upon payment.
What’s the battery range per charge?
Between 30 – 115 km depending on:
- Battery size (9 Ah – 17 Ah)
- Rider weight
- Terrain and riding style

High torque or low torque — what’s the difference?
- High torque: better hill climbing and carrying heavier loads
- Low torque: better efficiency and battery life on flat terrain
Do you ship?
Yes — we deliver locally across Sydney and can ship nationally for a delivery fee.
We also partner with supporting stores across Australia to assist with assembly where possible.
Do you assemble the bikes?
Absolutely. Our mechanics have 15 + years’ experience and are among the most qualified in the country.
Do you offer after-sale support?
Yes — your first service is free!
We’re also always available to provide ongoing maintenance, tune-ups, repairs, and support to keep your bike running perfectly as part of our workshop department.
