The Smartmotion XCity Neo is designed to elevate everyday urban cycling with premium electric performance and thoughtful comfort-focused design. Built around Smartmotion’s best-selling platform, it delivers a smooth, intuitive ride that feels natural whether you’re commuting, running errands, or cruising around the city.
At its heart is a compact DAPU mid-drive motor producing up to 95Nm of torque. Working together with torque and cadence sensors, the system adapts instantly to your pedalling input, delivering smooth, controlled assistance that feels responsive and efficient in stop-start city conditions. With a range of up to 80km, the XCity Neo is perfectly suited to daily urban riding.
The fully integrated 36V 16Ah downtube battery keeps the bike balanced and sleek, while the reinforced low-step 6061 aluminium frame makes mounting and dismounting easy and comfortable. SR Suntour 100mm suspension forks, wide Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres, and hydraulic disc brakes ensure confidence, stability, and control across city streets and uneven paths.
Comfort is further enhanced by swept-back handlebars, a suspension seatpost, and a premium Selle Royal saddle, allowing you to ride longer with less fatigue. The C-800 colour display keeps ride data clear and accessible, while integrated lighting, marine-rated cabling, rear rack, and full mudguards make the XCity Neo a practical and reliable everyday companion.

Do sales come with a warranty?
Yes — all sales include a 12-month parts warranty. Labour time is not included, but we’re always happy to assist with service and repairs and can work with our suppliers for after sales support to ensure you feel safe and secure on your new wheels.
Do I need to book a test ride?
No bookings required — just drop in!
We’ll help you test ride multiple bikes or discuss options that suit your needs.Tip: Call ahead or message us first to confirm availability of the specific model you’re after.
What bike styles do you stock?
We stock Australia’s largest range, including:

How much do your bikes cost?
- New e-bikes: from $1,500
- Second-hand models: from $600, depending on stock
All bikes are fully supported and serviceable by our in-house mechanics.
Can I ride home the same day?
Yes! If your bike is in stock, we’ll assemble and prep it so you can ride straight out the door upon payment.
What’s the battery range per charge?
Between 30 – 115 km depending on:
- Battery size (9 Ah – 17 Ah)
- Rider weight
- Terrain and riding style

High torque or low torque — what’s the difference?
- High torque: better hill climbing and carrying heavier loads
- Low torque: better efficiency and battery life on flat terrain
Do you ship?
Yes — we deliver locally across Sydney and can ship nationally for a delivery fee.
We also partner with supporting stores across Australia to assist with assembly where possible.
Do you assemble the bikes?
Absolutely. Our mechanics have 15 + years’ experience and are among the most qualified in the country.
Do you offer after-sale support?
Yes — your first service is free!
We’re also always available to provide ongoing maintenance, tune-ups, repairs, and support to keep your bike running perfectly as part of our workshop department.
