The Tebco Discovery is a step-thru unisex electric bike designed for riders who want a versatile, practical, and easy-to-ride transport alternative for road or trail. Built around a 6061 grade alloy step-thru frame, the Discovery pairs a Zoom suspension fork with a ZOOM HB-T320 handlebar, PROMAX MQ-565S stem, and 28.6 mm Promax seatpost with matching seat clamp for a comfortable, upright riding position. The wide-based Tebco saddle completes a comfort-focused setup suited to everyday riding in any condition.
Power comes from a 36 V 250 W rear hub drive motor with a torque-sensing bottom bracket for smooth, natural pedal assistance across 3 levels of PAS, managed by a 15A Lishui brushless controller. The 36 V 14 Ah Samsung lithium battery — integrated cleanly into the frame with the latest in-frame battery design — delivers up to 80 km of range on 1:1 pedal assist and a 25 km/h max speed, rated for up to 800 recharges from flat. The KD86 colour display keeps trip data, speed, and battery level clearly visible, while the Sans 36 V 2A lithium charger is AU compliant for safe home charging.
The Discovery runs a 7-speed drivetrain — Shimano SL-M315 trigger shifters, Shimano Tourney 7-speed derailleur, and a PROMAX E44PP/32 170 mm 48T crankset with a KMC Z51 chain — for reliable, easy shifting on road or trail. Braking is handled by Tektro Aries mechanical disc brakes front and rear with Wuxing 108PPD/4 brake levers for consistent stopping power in all conditions. 650B 36H double wall alloy rims paired with Kenda K924 650B x 2.125" tyres deliver a stable, grippy ride on any surface.
Practicality is built in with Buchel LED front and rear static lights, a HONKA HOOTA audible warning, black plastic 650B x 65 mm mudguards, and Yonghua 8X pedals. At 25 kg including battery, the Discovery is a well-balanced, easy-to-live-with everyday e-bike that requires no licence or registration to ride.

Do sales come with a warranty?
Yes — all sales include a 12-month parts warranty. Labour time is not included, but we’re always happy to assist with service and repairs and can work with our suppliers for after sales support to ensure you feel safe and secure on your new wheels.
Do I need to book a test ride?
No bookings required — just drop in!
We’ll help you test ride multiple bikes or discuss options that suit your needs.Tip: Call ahead or message us first to confirm availability of the specific model you’re after.
What bike styles do you stock?

How much do your bikes cost?
- New e-bikes: from $1,500

All bikes are fully supported and serviceable by our in-house mechanics.
Can I ride home the same day?
Yes! If your bike is in stock, we’ll assemble and prep it so you can ride straight out the door upon payment.
What’s the battery range per charge?
Between 30 – 115 km depending on:
- Battery size (9 Ah – 17 Ah)
- Rider weight
- Terrain and riding style

High torque or low torque — what’s the difference?
- High torque: better hill climbing and carrying heavier loads

Do you ship?
Yes — we deliver locally across Sydney and can ship nationally for a delivery fee.
We also partner with supporting stores across Australia to assist with assembly where possible.

Absolutely. Our mechanics have 15 + years’ experience and are among the most qualified in the country.
Do you offer after-sale support?
Yes — your first service is free!
