VelectriX Foldaway – Compact Folding Electric Bike
The VelectriX Foldaway combines portability, convenience, and urban performance in a compact electric bike. Its aluminium folding frame, step-through design, and adjustable stem make mounting and dismounting effortless, while the folding mechanism reduces its footprint to 85 cm × 55 cm × 67 cm — ideal for apartments, caravans, or under-desk storage.
Powered by a 36V, 200W front hub motor (VelectriX FX1) with 40 Nm of torque, the Foldaway offers smooth assistance for city rides up to 25 km/h. A 317–313 Wh battery delivers up to 40 km per charge with quick recharge in 3–4 hours. The Kingmeter KM3209 LCD display shows speed, battery level, and trip data for full control.
Riding comfort is enhanced with a rigid aluminium fork, Kenda Komfort 20" x 1.95" puncture-resistant tyres, alloy riser handlebars, and a comfortable alloy seat post. Shimano Nexus 3-speed internal hub gears provide reliable, low-maintenance shifting, and the bike features Tektro V-brakes for safe stopping.
Equipped with integrated front and rear lights, a rear rack, mudguards, a kickstand, and a twist throttle for extra assistance, the Foldaway is ready for commuting, errands, or weekend adventures. Weighing just 19.2 kg including the battery, it’s one of the lightest folding electric bikes on the market.

Do sales come with a warranty?
Yes — all sales include a 12-month parts warranty. Labour time is not included, but we’re always happy to assist with service and repairs and can work with our suppliers for after sales support to ensure you feel safe and secure on your new wheels.
Do I need to book a test ride?
No bookings required — just drop in!
We’ll help you test ride multiple bikes or discuss options that suit your needs.Tip: Call ahead or message us first to confirm availability of the specific model you’re after.
What bike styles do you stock?
We stock Australia’s largest range, including:

How much do your bikes cost?
- New e-bikes: from $1,500
- Second-hand models: from $600, depending on stock
All bikes are fully supported and serviceable by our in-house mechanics.
Can I ride home the same day?
Yes! If your bike is in stock, we’ll assemble and prep it so you can ride straight out the door upon payment.
What’s the battery range per charge?
Between 30 – 115 km depending on:
- Battery size (9 Ah – 17 Ah)
- Rider weight
- Terrain and riding style

High torque or low torque — what’s the difference?
- High torque: better hill climbing and carrying heavier loads
- Low torque: better efficiency and battery life on flat terrain
Do you ship?
Yes — we deliver locally across Sydney and can ship nationally for a delivery fee.
We also partner with supporting stores across Australia to assist with assembly where possible.
Do you assemble the bikes?
Absolutely. Our mechanics have 15 + years’ experience and are among the most qualified in the country.
Do you offer after-sale support?
Yes — your first service is free!
We’re also always available to provide ongoing maintenance, tune-ups, repairs, and support to keep your bike running perfectly as part of our workshop department.
